Dance
Whether you’re following a Zumba routine or just dancing along to your favorite songs, getting your heart rate up with continuous music is a great way to promote weight loss. You don’t have to have set moves or choreography– dancing to anything, any way for even 15 minutes will make a difference. Many feel dancing is more fun than an actual workout, so this is a great way to get physical.
Bike
Though perhaps a little more effort, going for a bike ride is totally free, and generally a low-intensity workout (depending on how hilly your area is). Biking is easier on your joints than running, and allows you to go a further distance in a shorter amount of time. Just make sure you wear a helmet and watch out for cars!
Body weight exercises
Believe it or not, resistance training is a better way to lose weight than aerobic training is. People think you need weight machines and dumbbells to get there, but that is just not true. You can do resistance training with your body weight. Squats, push ups, lunges, planks, and jumping jacks will all get you there.
Follow an online program
If it’s hard for you to come up with an exercise regimen on your own, you’re not alone. That is why there are plenty of online, free exercise programs you can follow. There are entire YouTube channels dedicated to providing you free workout programs, be it yoga, or exercise specifically targeted to problem areas on the body.
